  • Man Due To Be Extradited Over Beeston Attempted Murder And Rape

    06 July 2015

    Detectives investigating the attempted murder and rape of a woman in Beeston have been notified by the Slovakian authorities that the suspect detained there can be extradited back to the UK.

    Detective Superintendent Nick Wallen, from West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: ‘‘The 21-year-old, who was arrested from the Kosice area of Slovakia on the 4 June, is due to be brought back to the UK later this week and is expected to be charged and to appear before magistrates.’’
