As a Force, West Yorkshire Police is supporting a national service which prevents prisoners from making contact to victims and survivors of offending.

The Police Anti-Corruption and Abuse Reporting Service gives the public an anonymous and confidential route to report information about a police officer, member of staff or volunteer, who they believe are corrupt or committing serious abuse. The reporting service is run by the independent charity Crimestoppers.

At 11.23 this morning officers were called to the River Aire at Swillington just off Wakefield Road to reports a body was in the water.
An adult male was recovered from the water.
