Two men from Wakefield have been jailed for almost 13 years after a firearm and thousands of pounds of Class A drugs were recovered during an operation in the district.

A Wakefield man has been jailed for a total of 16 years after being found guilty of rape in a trial at Leeds Crown Court.
Steven Wood, 43 of Linton Road, Wakefield was sentenced yesterday (15/5) following the conviction of two offences of rape both receiving eight years, to run concurrently.
