Appeal: Assault in Horsforth, Leeds

Police are appealing for information following an assault in Leeds last night (Saturday August 25).
At 9.20pm, three men went to the home of a 36-year-old man in Low Lane, Horsforth. He responded to them knocking and when he opened the door was attacked. The suspects then ran off down Low Lane.
The victim suffered head injuries and was taken to a hospital in Leeds where he is in a serious condition.
The suspects are described as three African Caribbean males.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are asking for anyone with information to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555111.
