Appeal: Attempt Burglary, Lee Lane, Halifax

Police are appealing for information in relation to an attempted burglary which occurred on Thursday 25 October 2012 at an address on Lee Lane in Halifax.

At around 11:45pm, two men entered the property demanding money from the 71 year old female occupant.

She was subsequently assaulted by the men, receiving minor injuries.

The men were disturbed by her husband and made away empty handed from the house. It is believed they fled in the direction of Plough Croft Lane.

The suspects are both described as Asian, of medium build and in their late teens to early twenties.

CCTV enquiries are currently ongoing to trace those responsible.
