Appeal: Burglary-Co-op, Wellington Street, Leeds

Police are appealing for information after a car was used as part of a burglary at a supermarket on Wellington Street in central Leeds.
The incident occurred around 11.30pm on Thursday night (18/10) at the Coop supermarket which forms part of the Westpoint Apartments Complex.
Three masked suspects, who stole a large quantity of cigarettes, are believed to have used a stolen black BMW 3 series vehicle to leave the scene which they crashed shortly afterwards.
The suspects collided with a stationary taxi at the nearby junction between Wellington Street and Queen Street.
Following the collision the suspects abandoned the vehicle and made off on foot towards Whitehall Road in the direction of Globe Road. The male occupant of the taxi was fortunately uninjured as a result of the collision.
