Appeal: Cat Shot, Liversedge.

The Spen NPT are appealing for information after a cat was shot with an air rifle pellet on the 6 October.

The incident took place between 10:30am and 3pm on Saturday in the Liversedge area after the cat's owner had last seen the animal at their home on Garden Close, Littletown.

There are no suspect descriptions and it is unknown exactly where in Liversedge the cat was shot.

When it returned home at 3pm, the pet had an injury to its back. When it was taken to the Vets, the pellet was found.

The cat is currently recuperating after the incident.
