Appeal: Firearms Discharge, Hawthorne Drive, Thorpe Edge, Bradford.

Police in Bradford are appealing for witnesses after a firearm was discharged on Hawthorne Drive in the Thorpe Edge area last night.
The incident happened at around 11:40pm when the 42-year old man at the address called police to say that he had heard two shots.
On further investigation, the 42-year old discovered damage to the front door and a window of his house.
Armed officers were sent to the scene but no suspects could be traced.
The damage to the house was examined and is believed to be consistent with the discharge of a firearm, possible a shotgun.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are now appealing for witnesses to contact the Airedale and North Bradford CID via 101.
They are particularly appealing for anyone who saw a silver car in the Hawthorne Drive area at the time of the incident.
