Appeal: Serious Road Traffic Collision, Chapeltown Road, Leeds.

North East Leeds police are appealing for witnesses after a man and woman were seriously injured in a road traffic collision on Chapeltown Road, Leeds last night.

At 11:50pm on the 25 May the 29-year old woman and 32-year old man were in collision with a single-decker bus as it travelled from Leeds centre, along Chapeltown Road towards the crossroads with Reginald Terrace and Harehills Avenue.

The injured pair were taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries. The 29-year old woman is currently in a critical but stable condition while the 32-year old man is in a stable condition.

Any witnesses to the incident are now being asked to contact Stainbeck CID via 101.
