Divisional Commander's Message: EDL Demo, Keighley

Airedale and North Bradford Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Ian Kennedy said:

"I am very pleased with how the policing of the event went. The community of Keighley pulled together and did not rise to any provocation.

"The day passed without serious incident and local people can be extremely proud of how they dealt with the demonstration.

"I would also like to thank all partners who have done a fantastic job in assisting us to ensure the day concluded positively."
