E-Fit Appeal: Assault, Batley

Police have issued an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to following an assault in Batley.

He is believed to be one of three men who attacked another man in Summerbridge Close at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, 27 May, following a disturbance at an address.  

The victim, a 31-year-old man, was hit over the head with a metal bar and stabbed in the leg with a sharp implement.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, but was later discharged.

It is not known whether the men left the scene on foot or by vehicle.

One of the suspects is described as white, in his late teens or early twenties and about 6ft tall. He was of slim build, with short shaved blonde hair and was wearing a white shirt and white chinos-style trousers.

The second man was black and believed to be of similar age and height. He was of muscular build with spiked dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue top and black jeans.

The other man is described as white with very blonde hair.
