Public Meetings to Update on Construction of Police Buildings

Further meetings to discuss the new divisional police headquarters in Wakefield and Leeds and a specialist operational training facility have been set up in a series of community consultation events.

Members of the community are invited to attend the events in October to hear about ongoing developments for the new Police buildings at Havertop Lane, Normanton, Elland Road, Leeds, and Carr Gate, Wakefield.

The meetings will enable communities to be kept up to date with the construction and will provide a forum for residents to air their views.

The events are as follows:

New Leeds Divisional Headquarters – Elland Road site, Leeds

Thursday, 4th October - 7pm - 8.30pm (drop-in)

Reaney Suite, Elland Road Stadium (located on 1^st floor of the West Stand)

New Wakefield Divisional Headquarters – Havertop Lane site, Normanton

Monday, 1st October – 7pm - 8.30pm (drop-in)

Normanton Town Hall

Carr Gate, Operational Training Centre – existing Operations Division, Carr Gate, Wakefield

Tuesday, 2nd October – 7pm - 8.30pm (drop-in)

Kirkhamgate Village Hall, Brandy Carr Road, Kirkhamgate, Wakefield
