Wednesday, 14 February 2024At 2.37pm today (Wednesday), police received a call from a member of the public reporting a body in the Huddersfield Broad Canal in Aspley, Huddersfield. Officers attended and a male was recovered from the water.He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A man is due to appear in court charged with the murder of two men in Leeds.
Robert Jean, aged 46, has been charged with the murders of Abdullah Mirzada, aged 53, and Khaja Raisoddin Mohammed, aged 65.

A man and woman have been jailed for murdering a man in Bradford.
Stephen Kershaw, 65 was reported missing on 13 September by a concerned family member who hadn’t seen him, he was found dead in his bedroom alcove at his home address on 16 September.
