Monthly Message
Each team is led by a local Police Inspector and the teams now work seven days a week. Your local Neighbourhood Policing teams are working hard together with local councillors and partners to ensure that you feel safe in your neighbourhood. I live in the District and I know that it is important that people feel confident to tell the police about the issues and individuals who are affecting their quality of life and the ‘feelgood’ factor in their community. I will ensure that your new policing teams work tirelessly to create this confidence by visibly targeting the criminal, transferring the fear of crime back where it belongs, with the criminal. The teams will create regular opportunities to tell you what we and our partners are doing to ensure that your neighbourhood is a safe and secure place to be. I recognise the importance of providing a high quality service to you and I want to make sure that whenever you contact us you have a positive experience. I cannot guarantee that we will always be able to solve every crime or incident that is reported to us but I can guarantee that we will try our very best to do so. Above all I will ensure that everyone within my Division understands the importance of responding professionally and appropriately to the needs and expectations of your community. |
