Police are appealing for witnesses to reports of an armed robbery at a bank on Westgate in Huddersfield yesterday (05/11)
Shortly before 5pm, two men entered the premises and threatened a member of staff. It is believed one suspect was carrying a knife and the other was carrying a firearm.
Both the men are described as heavily built, wearing black head masks. One was wearing a black waist length jacket and the other was wearing a light waist length jacket.
No-one was hurt during the incident and the suspects made off in a silver Vauxhall Vectra saloon travelling out of Huddersfield towards Trinity Street.
A large sum of money was taken during the incident.
