Appeal: Assault, Silver Street, Halifax

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place on Silver Street in Halifax town centre between 2.15am and 2.30am on October 9th.

A 20 year old man was stood opposite Barbarella's bar when he was assaulted by a man he had been stood talking to.

The victim received serious facial injuries and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

The suspect is believed to be white, around 30 years old, of stocky build and was wearing a black coat and trousers.

Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC Sarah-Jane Clarke at Halifax Police Station on 01422 337 115.
