West Yorkshire Resilience Forum

The West Yorkshire Resilience Forum (West Yorkshire Prepared) was established under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 (CCA).

West Yorkshire Prepared, coordinates the actions and arrangements between responding services to prepare for and respond to civil emergencies when they occur. We also help people and communities recover after adverse events.

The partners of West Yorkshire Prepared meet to ensure that agencies across West Yorkshire are prepared for major emergencies and co-ordinated in their planning, training and exercising. The partners work collaboratively for the benefit of the communities they serve.

West Yorkshire Prepared, also undertakes risk assessments and produces a Risk Register to outline the types of risks that may occur locally and give advice on how to be better prepared for such events.

To find out more about how to be better prepared for an emergency, the activities of West Yorkshire Prepared and how the partners work together please follow our twitter and facebook accounts.

The Forum is co-chaired by Assistant Chief Constable Tim Kingsman (West Yorkshire Police), Deputy Chief Fire Officer Dave Walton (West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service) and Chief Executive Robin Tuddenham (Calderdale Council).
