Is it love at first sight? Or doesn't quite feel right?
Romance fraudsters pull on the heart strings as well as the purse strings.
They make contact via email, social media or dating websites. They build up a relationship with their victims before eventually asking for money.
They may pretend to need money for transport to visit, for a family emergency or to cover medical care.
Notify your bank if you gave out your bank or card details.
Report fraud to Action Fraud on 0300123 2040.

- Sent them money for any reason?
- Ever met them in person?
- Been told to keep your relationship a secret from your family and friends?

- Sent money to them for any reason?
- Become secretive about money or relationships?
