Manningham Ward

Priority

Commercial Burglaries

To work with businesses in the Manningham area to reduce the number of commercial burglary offences.

Working with partners and the Safer Roads Team in tackling poor and anti-social driving in particular on and around Midland Road.

Tackle drug use and dealing in the areas of Houghton Place/Hallfield Road, Wilmer Road/Birr Road.

City Outer Ward

Priority

Tackle anti-social driving around the College and University.

Stop Anti-social Behaviour in the Spencer Road area.

Stop Street drug dealing in the Grantham Road area.

Tackle Burglaries in the Ash Grove and Pemberton Drive area (Student accommodation/ multi-occupancy housing).

 

Clayton & Fairweather Green

Priority

Work with partners to stop youth anti-social behaviour including nuisance motorcycles in the Lower Grange area.

Reduce residential burglary and theft from motor vehicle offences in Clayton.

Tackle anti-social behaviour around Clayton village.

Heaton

Priority

ASB – reduce ASB involving local youths in the Chellow Grange area targeting Chellowfield court and Bradford West Golf club.

Burglaries – Reduce Residential Burglaries in the Frizinghall area, utilising crime reduction methods and increasing public awareness on crime prevention.

Drug dealing – Target drug related activities around Haworth Road, Heights Lane and Wilmer Road with  pro active plain clothes and pro active uniformed patrols.

Thornton & Allerton Ward

Priority

Reduce burglary dwelling in Thornton and the sandy Lane area. Working closely with partners and volunteers to maximise impact.

Tackle anti-social behaviour in Thornton Village focusing on the community centre working closely with partners.  

Target drugs related offences around Hoylings Road and Saffron Drive with a zero tolerance approach.

Work with partners and the off-road bike team to tackle speeding and road related offences on James Street, Back heights Lane and Ley Top Lane.

Toller Ward

Priority

1) Reducing anti-social behaviour in lower Girlington along with street drinking and drug taking.

2) Manage burglary/theft nominals in lower Girlington.

3) Work with partners to tackle school parking and traffic congestion on Squire Lane.

4) Reducing, anti-social behaviour and theft from motor vehicle at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
