Wednesday December 7, 2022 A Castleford man has been sentenced to more than eight years after being found guilty of a number of sexual offences against an underage victim.  
Friday 6 October 2023  Police investigating some thefts from shops in the Castleford area would like to speak with Mitchell England regarding these matters.   England, who is 28 and from Castleford is described as being about 5ft 9 ins tall and of slim build. He has tattoos of names on both arms. 
Wednesday, 6 March 2024 Police investigating an assault in Castleford have released images of two men they would like to identify.  The incident occurred outside the Thrill and Grill takeaway in Carlton Street at about 1.45am on Sunday, 14 January.
