VIPER® are a team within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire. The team provides a nationally available video identification service including a range of identification related products and services to the police every day.

West Yorkshire Police is supporting the NWG and Sport England’s Safe to Play campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness around tackling child sexual exploitation (CSE) in sport, so that children and adults can enjoy physical activity safe from harm and abuse. We’re encouraging parents, coaches and children to know the signs that something isn’t right and have the confidence to report it.
With effect from the 01.01.21 - VIPER Volunteers   Who are VIPER? VIPER are a small team within West Yorkshire Police who are the territorial police force responsible for policing the areas of West Yorkshire in North East England.
As of the 5th August 2022 the Home Office have repealed the requirement under the Immigration Rules for certain foreign nationals to register with the police.  Therefore, the West Yorkshire Police Overseas Registration Office will no longer receive or process registration applications.
