Monday 29 January 2024 Police have charged a man after an officer was assaulted whilst attending a domestic incident in Oak Lane, Bradford on Friday 26 January.

Tuesday January 2, 2024 Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted inside a property in Batley. Kirklees District CID would like to speak to anyone who has information about an incident at Ealing Court overnight between Monday January 1 and Tuesday January 2.

Friday October 13, 2023 A Batley man has been jailed for more than three years for coercively controlling a woman over a number of years and also seriously assaulting her.

Sarah’s Law - the Child Sex Offender Disclosure Scheme (CSOD), sometimes called ‘Sarah’s Law’, allows parents, carers or guardians to formally ask the police for information about a person who has contact with their child, or a child close to them, if they’re concerned the person may pose a risk.

A money mule is a person who transfers stolen money on behalf of others, usually through their bank account. Criminals contact people and offer them cash to receive money into their bank account and transfer it to another account. This person is known as a ‘money mule’.
