Our Initial Contact Apprenticeship Programme gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn. You will complete a nationally recognised qualification in the workplace alongside earning a wage. During the working week you will be given time to complete the Emergency Service Contact Handling Level 3 Qualification and will have support and guidance from our dedicated People Development Unit, mentors and supervisors.

Police Officer - Police Constable Degree Apprenticeships. This route is for people applying to be a Police Officer, who do not already have a degree. The programme takes three years to complete and is jointly provided by Leeds Trinity University and West Yorkshire Police. It consists of a mixture of classroom based learning and ‘on the job’ training.
