Following the implementation of more stringent measures to stop the spread of coronavirus, all Police and Community Together (PACT) / community meetings have been cancelled until further notice.

The public can be reassured that we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure their safety amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Neighbourhood Priorities

Keighley West Ward
To address the issues of anti-social driving of off-road bikes in the North Dean Road / Fell Lane area by working in conjunction with our Operation Steerside team and Off Road Bike Team to enforce ASB legislation.

Deal with on-going reports of street dealing on North Dean Road and the surrounding residential streets. Work with the community developing and taking action on reports and intelligence received.

Craven Ward
Deal with on-going reports of begging outside the co-op and other retail premises in the Silsden area. Work with the community developing and taking action on reports and intelligence received.

To address the issues of parking opposite solid white lines on Keighley Road by working in conjunction with our wardens and parking services.

Keighley East Ward
To target anti-social vehicle use, speeding and inconsiderate parking in Long Lee. We will be increasing patrols in the areas and issuing penalty notices to any vehicle parked causing an obstruction and conducting speed checks.  Working in partnership with our wardens to tackle the issues.

To target anti-social vehicle use, off road bikes and inconsiderate noise in Woodhouse. We will be increasing patrols in the areas and dealing with and removing bikes found driving anti socially and prosecuting the riders.

Worth Ward
To target anti-social vehicle use, speeding and inconsiderate parking in Stanbury and Oakworth. We will be increasing patrols in the areas and issuing penalty notices to any vehicle parked causing an obstruction, working closely with wardens and parking services.

To target and engage with residents of Crossroads for crime prevention and advice regarding bogus officials. To engage with elderly residents and target ASB in Crossroads park.

Central Ward
To work closely with partner agencies and community members to address the issues of anti-social behavior and street drinking specifically in the areas of Bow Street, Shopping Centre and Bus Station. Police Operation in place to target and displace these offenders.

Deal with on-going reports of street dealing in Highfield and Lawkholme and the surrounding residential streets. Work with the community developing and taking action on reports and intelligence received.

Ilkley Ward

To work closely with partner agencies and community members to address the issue of anti-social behaviour from youths at the Riverside/Denton Road.

To work closely with partner agencies and community members to address speeding and antisocial vehicle use in Ilkley, specifically along the A65 corridor and on Cow Pasture Road.
