Tackle anti-social behaviour, begging and street drinking on Armley Town Street. We will do this by carrying out hi-visibility patrols and by working with our partner agencies to identify those responsible.
Tackle drug dealing across the Armley ward. We will use community intelligence to identify those members of the community involved in criminal activity to actively target and pursue though proactive police.
Anti-social driving including speeding. Utilising partners, councils and specialist police departments to conduct visible operations to deter and educate offenders.
Reduce residential burglary. We will do this by proactively targeting those involved in burglaries, carry out hi-visibility patrols in identified areas and provide crime prevention advice to residents.
Tackle Stone throwing – We will carry out hi-visibility patrols to identify those responsible and take positive action. We will conduct pro-active operations with partners.
To tackle Anti-social vehicle (including off-road bikes) use, speeding and inconsiderate parking around the Broad Lane, Leeds & Bradford Road and Stanningley Road areas. We will be increasing patrols in the areas and issuing penalty notices to any driver’s found committing traffic offences.
In lead up to bonfire night officers will be pro-active in the lead up to bonfire night. We will identify regular ASB offenders and deter nuisance over this period. Working with partners we will devise a cohesive and pragmatic plan to reduce crime and ASB typically associated with the bonfire period.
To tackle theft from motor vehicles and low-level crime in the area. By proactively targeting offenders and conducting high visibility patrols in the area. This will be supported by providing education for residents limiting the offenders opportunity to commit the offences.
To tackle anti-social behaviour at Kirkstall Shopping Centre. We will conduct high visibility patrols and increasing communication with the stores. In addition utilising additional police powers to actively prevent repeat offenders form attending the area.
To disrupt and engage with nuisance youths in the Town Centre. Officers have incorporated problem areas into their patrol plans and repeat offenders will be dealt with robustly and ensuring that additional police powers are used to prevent and deter individuals from re attending the area.
To tackle residential Burglary. We will do this by proactively targeting those involved in burglaries, carry out hi-visibility patrols in identified areas and provide crime prevention advice to residents.
Farnley and Wortley
Antisocial behaviour on the Whincovers/Butterbowl area. This can be targeted not only by high visibility patrols but also by deploying additional police powers to prevent this behaviour. We will also target offenders by using partners who are often the recipients.
ASB & Drug dealing on the Heights. We will continue to target individual offenders whilst encouraging member of the public to report information and increasing our effectiveness to target offenders.
Speeding on Whitehall Road & parking issues when Leeds United play at home. Utilising partners, councils and specialist police departments to conduct visible operations to deter and educate offenders.
Calverley and Farsley
To target the use of anti-social, off road motorcycles and quad bikes in Calverley & Ravenscliffe Woods, by working in Partnership with Bradford East NPT, Operation Steerside & Leeds Off Road Bike Team. Officers will utilise Anti-Social Behaviour & Road Traffic legislation in a zero tolerance enforcement style.
To target speeding & anti-social motorists on Bradford Road from Dawson’s Corner to Thornbury Roundabout, by conducting hi visibility patrols of the road and the deployment of ProLaser to capture & deter offending.
To tackle residential burglaries by conducting hi visibility patrols, targeting & disrupting known offenders and delivering of crime prevention advice to residents.
