Appeal: Attempt Robbery, Bradford

Police investigating an attempt robbery in a supermarket car park in Bradford are appealing for witnesses.

At about 3.10pm on Saturday, 3 February, a woman in her twenties was sat in a black Volkswagen Tiguan in the Tesco car park in Canal Road, when a male opened the passenger door and told her to get out of the vehicle.

Another male opened the driver’s door and there was a struggle before a man intervened and the suspects ran off towards the Shipley Airedale Road.

The victim suffered very minor injuries and no weapons were seen.

Both suspects are believed to be in their twenties.

One is described as Asian or mixed race, of medium build and around 5ft 10ins tall. He spoke with a local accent and had a hood up with his face covered.

The second is described as an Asian male, of skinny build and similar height. He also spoke with a local accent and was wearing clothing which was described as scruffy.
