Friday 4 August 2023  Police in Kirklees are appealing for information following a number of burglaries yesterday in Holmfirth and Huddersfield. 
Insecure or Sneak-In burglary accounts for approximately 1 in 4 burglaries across West Yorkshire.  This method of entering someone’s home only occurs if a door or window has been left open or unlocked.  It only takes a minute to prevent it and costs nothing other than your to time to stop it from happening.
Neighbourhood Watch is the largest voluntary crime prevention group in the country. It is based on the idea of communities coming together to help reduce crime and increase community cohesion. People join Neighbourhood Watch for many different reasons, whether it is to improve personal safety and security around their home, or to become part of a group and meet new people. Neighbourhood Watch also brings communities together that share a sense of responsibility for where they live.
Tuesday 19 December 2023  Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Cleckheaton.   It happened at an address in Rustless Close in the early hours of Friday, 1 December.   Enquiries suggest two suspects were involved and were seen running towards Halifax Road at around 2.15am.

Wednesday 3 January 2024 Police investigating a business burglary in Huddersfield are appealing for information.     It happened in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 17 December at the Mamas and Papas Warehouse in Colne Bridge Road, Huddersfield.

Wednesday 8 November 2023 Police have issued images of men they wish to identify in connection with a burglary in Dewsbury. The Kirklees District Crime Team would like to speak to the men pictured below in connection with a burglary on Grasmere Road, Dewsbury on  Saturday August 12.
Monday 13th June 2020 saw the celebration of Neighbourhood Watch becoming a part of communities throughout West Yorkshire. We had planned to celebrate in style with an event designed to say thank you to our hard working Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers, at our Carr Gate Training Centre, but unfortunately due to lock down restrictions at the time this was not able to go ahead.
