Appeal: Road Traffic Collision, Keighley Road, Halifax

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision on Keighley Road Halifax.

Officers were called at 08.51 yesterday morning (Tuesday 5 January) to reports a car had been in collision with a pedestrian.

The red and black Renault Captur was travelling towards Halifax Town centre when it was in collision with a pedestrian.  

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

The driver of the Renault Captur a 73 year old man was taken to Calderdale Royal hospital with serious injuries.

Officers would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam of the incident to come forward.
