Thursday 18 April, 2019

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision in the West Bowling area of Bradford.

The incident happened on Thursday 11 April at around 3:35pm on Upper Castle Street at the junction with Dalcross Street and involved a blue coloured Ford Focus and a Mercedes Sprinter minibus.

At the time of the incident, the minibus was crossing the junction and heading towards Dalcross Street.

The Focus was travelling along Upper Castle Street.

As a result of the incident the mini bus was left with considerable damage.

Two males in the Ford Focus left the scene on foot in the direction of the children’s’ park on Upper Castle Street.

No-one in the mini bus was seriously injured.

PC Jon Moss from the Roads Policing Unit said: “Fortunately the occupants of the mini bus have only sustained minor injuries and have all been discharged from hospital.

“This could easily have been more serious as the impact between the vehicles was significant. I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with dash cam footage to make contact with me.

“I would also like to appeal to people who may have seen either the Ford Focus car or the mini bus prior to the collision to make contact. Please call the police on 101, quoting log reference 1065 of 11/04/2019.”
