Appeal: Robbery, Healey Lane, in Batley

Police in Batley are appealing for information following a knife point robbery.

The incident happened on Monday 31 July at around 1:20pm on near to the entrance of The George Inn public house on Healey Lane in Batley.

The male victim was walking past the entrance of the pub car park, when the suspect walked towards him.

The suspect who was carrying a knife, approached the victim and demanded money from him. The victim handed over a bank note and fled on foot.

The suspect walked from the scene in the direction of Batley town centre.

He is described as Asian, in his early 20s, with short hair and stubble on his face. He was wearing a dark blue Adidas jogging bottoms and top.
