Appeal: Sentimental Jewellery Stolen from House in Birkenshaw

Detectives are appealing for information after a significant amount of sentimental jewellery was stolen from a house in Birkenshaw.

The incident occurred on Tuesday 16 July between 12:15 and 7:15pm at a house on Swincliffe Crescent.

Suspects attempted to break in through the back door, but then forced entry through the conservatory door and searched the house.

They stole a number of pieces of sentimental jewellery from the house and a quantity of cash.

The suspects then fled the property.

Among the items stolen were:

  • Silver bracelet engraved with the words – ‘Dance, dance dance, like no one is watching you’
  • Gold necklace, earrings and bracelet set with ruby’s;
  • Gold ring with red ruby stone in the centre;
  • Gold necklace with butterfly pendant with two diamonds;
