Appeal: Serious Road Traffic Collision, Woodhouse Street, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Leeds involving a pedestrian.

The Eastern Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has information about the incident which took place at about 9.10am on Woodhouse Street, Leeds on Thursday August 22nd.

It occurred after a 26-year-old male pedestrian was involved in a collision with a white Citroen Berlingo near to the junction with Johnston Street.

The pedestrian was in the road at the time and suffered serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital for emergency treatment and is in a critical condition.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and he has been spoken to by officers.
