At 11.23 this morning officers were called to the River Aire at Swillington just off Wakefield Road to reports a body was in the water.
An adult male was recovered from the water.
Thursday April 18, 2024 Police investigating the disappearance of John Chege have found the body of a man. The body was found at just after 3.02pm today (18/4) in a wooded area close to Station Road in Wyke, Bradford. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

Wednesday, 14 February 2024At 2.37pm today (Wednesday), police received a call from a member of the public reporting a body in the Huddersfield Broad Canal in Aspley, Huddersfield. Officers attended and a male was recovered from the water.He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Tuesday April 16,2024Police were called to an address on Shetland Close at 3.57pm today ( 16 April) to a report of a serious ongoing incident. A man was found deceased, and a man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the matter.

A man from Keighley who has been wanted since 2013 for non recent sexual offences against a young girl has been jailed.
Tuesday 27 February 2024Two men from Keighley have been jailed after being charged with drug offences in the town. Khalid Azam (41) of Edensor Road and Christopher Shepherd (35) of Guard House Grove were charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Police investigating the disappearance of Jesus Moreno in Leeds have found the body of a male.
The body was found by a police search team on Friday afternoon (14th April) on land close to the River Wharfe in the Harewood area.
