Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to trace following an attempted robbery at a convenience store in Osmondthorpe.

The suspect then made off from the scene empty-handed.

The shop worker sustained a minor injury in the incident.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man pictured as he may have information valuable to the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference 13190379648.
