E-fit Appeal: Bogus Official Burglary, Huddersfield

Monday 1st October 2019,

Police have today (01/10) released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a ‘bogus official’ burglary which occurred at around midday on Central Avenue in Huddersfield on 5th September 2019.

A man wearing a distinctive high visibility vest along with blue jeans attended the home of a 70 year old man purporting to be from the ‘water board’. He is described as white, in his early 20s and of large build.

As he directed the victim to a drain, it is believed a second suspect took an amount of jewellery and money from the property.
