Efit Appeal: Robbery, Thornton

Wednesday, 12 June 2019

Police investigating a robbery in Bradford have issued an e-fit image of a man they would like to identify.

At approximately 10.34pm last Friday (7 June), a man was pushing a motorbike along Old Road, close to the junction with Allerton View, when a white VW Golf stopped in front of him.

The suspect got out of the vehicle and produced a knife, threatening to attack the man if he did not hand it over.

The man handed the bike over to the suspect, who made off with the bike on foot towards Thornton Road.

The bike was later recovered.

The suspect is described as black and is believed to be in his early twenties.

He had messy curly black hair, a short black beard and was wearing a blue hooded jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms.

He is said to have spoken with a mixed Bradford and London accent.

Anyone who recognises this male is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 13190287418, or use www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat
