Friday 9 February 2024   In line with Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week, yesterday, Thursday 8 February, West Yorkshire Police hosted a symposium for Operation Soteria, the national operating model introduced to transform the way police forces investigate rape and serious sexual violence.
Tuesday, 19 March, 2024Police in West Yorkshire have arrested 42 people and seized Class A drugs valued at over £620,000 as part of crackdown on County Lines crime.    
Thursday, March 21, 2024Over £600,000 worth of drugs was seized by police as part of a nationally-coordinated operation to tackle County Lines and organised criminality.  
West Yorkshire Police serve approximately 2.2 million people living in one of the five metropolitan districts. The physical area, of approximately 780 square miles.

Neighbourhood Watch is the largest voluntary crime prevention group in the country. It is based on the idea of communities coming together to help reduce crime and increase community cohesion. People join Neighbourhood Watch for many different reasons, whether it is to improve personal safety and security around their home, or to become part of a group and meet new people. Neighbourhood Watch also brings communities together that share a sense of responsibility for where they live.
