'Get a Crime Update' (formerly known as Local Crime Tracker) is an online service provided by West Yorkshire Police that allows you to quickly and easily check the status of a previously reported crime - it allows you to keep updated with the status of your crime, view details of the officer in the case and contact the officer if you require an update.

As part of the ongoing Clear, Hold and Build Home Office initiative, locally named as CommUnity Harehills, officers from the Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) and Neighbourhood Impact Team, continue to improve areas blighted by serious and organised crime.
Tuesday 5th December 2023 In recent months, West Yorkshire Police have been made aware of an increase in reports of Anti-social behaviour and criminal acts such as damage and public order offences at the Whinmoor Bus Terminus.
Officers from the Burmantofts and Richmond Hill Neighbourhood continue to target and address the local community and policing priorities set across the ward area, to address reports of urban street gangs and organised criminal groups involved in serious and organised crime and drugs supply.

"West Yorkshire Community Alert" enables members of the public to keep in touch with local police updates. Public registration is free and people can choose to receive news and appeals, local crime information and/or prevention advice direct via email, text or voice message.

Friday, 19 January, 2024 Following the dispersal order issued earlier this week, a further dispersal order has been put in place in the Guiseley area.  This comes after multiple reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) involving youths in and around Guiseley in recent days.
