Man Arrested Following Keighley Firearms Incident

Police investigating a firearms discharge in Keighley have arrested a man.
The man, who is 34 and from Keighley, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody at this time.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 11pm last Thursday (29 August) on the forecourt of the Jet service station in South Street.
It is being treated as a targeted attack and enquiries are continuing.
The same man has also been charged with unrelated firearms offences and has been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates tomorrow.
Police are continuing to appeal for information about the incident in South Street and anyone who can assist is asked to contact police on 101 or by using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website. The log is 2180 of 29 August.
