Man Charged With Murder Over Woman's Death, Harehills, Leeds.

A man is due to appear in court today charged with murder in relation to the death of woman in Leeds on Monday.
Karar Ali, aged 29, of Milan Road, Harehills, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court over the murder of Jodi Miller, aged 21, who was pronounced dead at hospital after being found seriously injured in Milan Road shortly after 7pm on Monday (25/2).
A 34-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.

Detectives are treating the death of a woman in Leeds last night as murder.
At 7.10pm yesterday (25/2), police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending Milan Road, in Harehills, where a woman had been found seriously injured.
The 21-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Two men, aged 29 and 34, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody.
A scene remains in place around Milan Road for ongoing forensic examination and searches.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Swift, of West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: “We are treating the woman’s death as murder and have arrested two men in connection with incident.
“Her family have been informed and we are supporting them at what is obviously a very difficult time for them.
“Our enquiries are still at an early stage and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any part of the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
