Friday 23 June 2023 A former Shipley headmaster who was convicted of multiple indecent assaults against children has pleaded guilty to further offences.   Damian Cheshire, 81, from Bradford pleaded guilty to 7 indecent assault offences.

Wednesday 27 December 2023 Police can now confirm that a man sadly passed away after a collision in Greengates, Bradford on 19 December.   The collision happened on the A657, New Line, at around 7:05pm on 19 December.

Friday 19 January 2024 A man and woman have been jailed for murdering a man in Bradford.   Stephen Kershaw, 65 was reported missing on 13 September by a concerned family member who hadn’t seen him, he was found dead in his bedroom alcove at his home address on 16 September.

Wednesday, 14 February 2024At 2.37pm today (Wednesday), police received a call from a member of the public reporting a body in the Huddersfield Broad Canal in Aspley, Huddersfield.  Officers attended and a male was recovered from the water.He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
