A milestone investment in policing in Kirklees has moved a major step forwards after planning permission was granted to build a new police HQ in Dewsbury.
The West Yorkshire Police Green Police Network (GPN) provides support, advice and guidance to Members and to any interested Officers and Staff in relation to green/ethical and dietary matters. It works to influence West Yorkshire Police policy development in making positive changes in relation to these matters, whilst building an effective network which benefits its members and wider Officers and staff.

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Shelf on 20 October can sadly confirm a second person has died.
The collision happened at 11.17pm on 20 October on Brow Lane where a white Seat Ibiza collided with a wall.
West Yorkshire Police Training and Development Centre - based at Carr Gate Complex - Wakefield - information about the "Bishopgarth House" building. This is the training hub and houses the majority of classrooms on site.
The next Illingworth Ward Forum will be taking place on 28/09/23 at Illingworth Moor Methodist Church.

Following the dispersal order issued earlier this week, a further dispersal order has been put in place in the Guiseley area.
This comes after multiple reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) involving youths in and around Guiseley in recent days.

A Dewsbury man has been jailed for more than 21 years for starting a fire which took the life of a man and seriously injured five others.
