Tuesday 7 February 2023 An operation focused on anticipating and then preventing crime is spreading across West Yorkshire following its success in Leeds.
Tuesday November 14, 2023 Police have begun a blitz against offenders and the weapons they can carry after launching twin operations targeting violent crime in West Yorkshire.  
"West Yorkshire Community Alert" enables members of the public to keep in touch with local police updates. Public registration is free and people can choose to receive news and appeals, local crime information and/or prevention advice direct via email, text or voice message.
These awards recognise the excellent contribution of local members and schemes in making a difference in their area.
Project Servator – a policing tactic used to disrupt a range of criminality, including terrorism while providing a reassuring presence for the public. We are working with partners, including businesses and the public, to continue to protect West Yorkshire communities. The aim is to make West Yorkshire a difficult place for criminals and terrorists to operate.

Monday 5 December 2022 A first of its kind operation is shining a ‘spotlight’ on potential offenders using nightlife in West Yorkshire this winter to prevent crimes before they happen.

It’s not about lowering standards or giving someone an unfair advantage; it’s abou getting everyone to the same starting line, so they have equal opportunity. 
West Yorkshire Police Sikh Association (WYPSA) is a staff network, which has been established to support the needs of all people either working or volunteering for West Yorkshire Police and those from other Forces who do not have a fully constituted network and the community. WYPSA provides advice and support to all members and acts as a conduit between the Sikh community and the police force.

West Yorkshire Police Hindu Association (WYPHA) is a Staff Network, which has been established to support the needs of all people either working or volunteering for West Yorkshire Police and those from other police services who do not have a fully constituted network and the community. WYPHA seeks to provide help, signposting and support to everyone from a neutral perspective.
The LGBT Network is a national arrangement of staff LGBT networks that provide guidance, support and accountability on LGBT issues in policing, including representing the interests of LGBT people in policing. West Yorkshire has a long-standing network which was formerly the Gay Police Association, but which changed its name and constitution to reflect the broader range of identities in the LGBT community.
