The Force Planning Unit is a specialist department within the Protective Services Operations Division based at Carr Gate, Wakefield. Its role is to deal with all aspects of emergency planning both planned & spontaneous and to manage the logistical requirements of the Force in relation to all major, operational events and contingencies.

Friday August 23, 2023 A drive to provide safe places for women girls and others at risk in Kirklees has passed a major milestone after setting up more than 200 spaces. 
Police Community Support Officers Logan and Miles, will be holding a ‘magical’ Christmas story telling session in partnership with Halton Library, Selby Road which has been kindly funded by the local ward Councillors.
