They undertake a wide range of police duties and provide a vital link between the police and the diverse communities that we serve, helping the Force to meet policing needs and increase the public’s confidence in the police service.

Thursday, 30 November 2023 A man who was seriously injured in an incident in Pontefract has passed away in hospital.   Luke Thompson, who was 25 and from Pontefract, died yesterday (Wednesday) after he was found in Front Street at about 4.30am last Sunday (19 November).
