Teenager Charged With Shop Robbery

A teenager has been remanded in custody after he was charged with robbing a shop in Wetherby.

Liam Pearcey-Skey, aged 18, of Wetherby, appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court on Saturday, 24 April, after he was charged with robbery and two counts of being in possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Two of the charges relate to an incident which occurred at The Paper Shop in Wetherby on Monday, 19 April.
The other charge relates to an incident in which a knife was recovered by police officers in The Headrow on Thursday, 22 April.
He was remanded in custody to next appear at Leeds Crown Court on 21 May.
