UPDATE Appeal: Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Bradford

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford have issued a further appeal for information.

Officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team would like to speak to anyone who witnessed, or has dash cam footage of a silver Renault Scenic being driven erratically in the Burnham Avenue area at about 6pm on Tuesday.

This vehicle is believed to be the same one which was involved in the collision with a VW Transporter and a Ford Transit on the A650 Wakefield Road at about 10.54pm that day.

Stephen Tordoff, who was 18 and from the BD4 area of Bradford, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two males aged 17 and 19 who were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving have now been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The 19-year-old male has been recalled to prison for other matters.

Two other males aged 16 and 17, who were also arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving also remain on bail.

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford have released further details about the deceased.

Stephen Tordoff, who was 18 and from the BD4 area of the city, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which happened on the A650 Wakefield Road at about 10.54pm on Tuesday.

Stephen was a passenger in a Renault Scenic which was in collision with a VW Transporter van which in turn struck a Ford Transit van, close to the junctions with New Hey Road and Neville Road.

Three males aged 16, 17 and 17 were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The 16-year-old male and one of the 17-year-olds have now been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The other 17-year-old male remains in custody along with a 19-year-old male, who has also been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The Major Collision Enquiry Team is appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have dash cam footage which may assist the investigation to contact them.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford.

At about 10.54pm yesterday (Tuesday), a Renault Megane was travelling along the A650 Wakefield Road towards the city centre, when it was in collision with a Volkswagen Transporter van, close to the junctions with Neville Road and New Hey Road.

The Transporter then struck a Ford Transit.

An 18-year-old male, who was a passenger in the Megane, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two males aged 17 and a third male aged 16 have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Enquiries into the collision are continuing and anyone who witnessed it, or who may have dash cam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police.
