UPDATE Appeal: Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Bradford

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford have released the name of the woman who died.

June Martin, who was 62 and from Denholme, died after she was in collision with a grey Vauxhall Astra on the A650 Wakefield Road.

The collision happened close to the junction with Hall Lane, at about 5.50pm last Thursday (14 November).

June was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Astra, a man in his thirties, has been spoken to by police.

Enquiries into this collision are continuing by The Major Collision Enquiry Team who are asking anyone who witnessed it, or who may have dash cam footage which will assist to contact them on 101, or use the reporting options on the West Yorkshire Police website.

Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford.

It happened at about 5.50pm yesterday (Thursday) when a grey Vauxhall Astra travelling along the A650 Wakefield Road towards Bradford city centre, was in collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a woman in her sixties, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a man in his thirties, has been spoken to by police.

The Major Collision Enquiry Team is investigating this collision and anyone who witnessed it, or who may have dash cam footage which will assist is asked to contact the team on 101, or use the reporting options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
