UPDATE: Appeal To Trace Woman Following Concern For Safety Report, Bradford

A woman reported to have been driven away in a vehicle from Grove Terrace in Bradford last week has been found safe and well.

A third male arrested in connection with this investigation has been released on bail.

Police would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal or called in with information.

Enquiries into the incident are continuing.

Police have arrested a third man in connection with this ongoing investigation. Two other men arrested have since been released on police bail.

Police remain keen to speak to anyone who saw a black Vauxhall Corsa in Grove Terrace at about 7.20pm on Wednesday, or anyone who saw a male and female arguing in the area at around this time.

Police are reappealing for information about an incident in Bradford where a woman was reported to have been in a distressed state and injured.

Officers were called at around 7.30pm on Wednesday about a woman in Grove Terrace, who was said to be shouting for help and arguing with a male. 

Officers attended but were unable to locate the woman, who is described as an Asian female.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Farrell, who is leading the investigation, said:

“We are today issuing this CCTV image of the woman, which shows her in an alleyway between Grove Terrace and Mannville Terrace on the night of the incident.

“Our enquiries suggest she was in an altercation with a male, who has then driven away with her in a black Vauxhall Corsa.

“We have recovered a vehicle matching this description, but we urgently need to find this woman to make sure she is safe and well.”

Two men have been arrested in connection with this ongoing investigation, as enquiries continue to establish the circumstances around this incident. Both remain in custody.

Police investigating an incident where a woman is believed to have been injured in Bradford are appealing for information.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw a black Vauxhall Corsa in Grove Terrace at about 7.20pm yesterday (Wednesday) or anyone who saw a male and female arguing in the area at around this time.

This follows a call police received at about 7.30pm yesterday relating to the concern for safety of a woman who was said to be in a distressed state. Officers attended but were unable to locate her.

Enquiries are continuing to locate the woman, who is described as an Asian female.

A man has been arrested in relation to this incident and is currently in custody.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Farrell, of Bradford District Police, said:

“Our enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of this incident and we are appealing for anyone with information which may assist to contact us.

“However our main concern is for the welfare of this woman as we believe she was injured so we need to know she is safe and well.”
