'Get a Crime Update' (formerly known as Local Crime Tracker) is an online service provided by West Yorkshire Police that allows you to quickly and easily check the status of a previously reported crime - it allows you to keep updated with the status of your crime, view details of the officer in the case and contact the officer if you require an update.
"West Yorkshire Community Alert" enables members of the public to keep in touch with local police updates. Public registration is free and people can choose to receive news and appeals, local crime information and/or prevention advice direct via email, text or voice message.

A Huddersfield man who sexual assaulted vulnerable women has been jailed.
Naveed Khawaja ( 55) of Yew Street, Huddersfield was jailed for three years at Leeds Crown Court on May 9 after being convicted of three sexual assaults.
